Knights Earn Win with Late Rally
|
Brooklyn Knights starter Ray Totino turned in a top-notch performance against the Los Angeles Kings at Brooklyn Coliseum. The result was a win for the Knights, 2-1. Brooklyn's record now stands at 78-84, placing them last in the Alliance League Boneheads Division.
The game was at a stalemate until catcher John Espinosa came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Los Angeles pitcher Robert Martinez, he hit a 0-2 sinker for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Brooklyn on top, 2-1.
"Thought I threw pretty well and overall I felt good," said Totino.
