The Saskatchewan 92's managed to get by the St. Louis Archies, 4-3, at Team2 Ballpark. Saskatchewan pitcher Peter Mgulia set himself apart with his performance. Siu-chung Chieu finished to wrap up his 41st save. The win gives Saskatchewan a season record of 95-66.

Saskatchewan used the timely hitting of Luis Garcia to seize the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the 92's on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"If you ever get this game figured out," said St. Louis manager Terry Schneekloth, "let me know."
