Yellowstone Super Volcano starter Jim Davis found his groove in his team's 5-3 win over the Arizona Desert Storm. In 8 innings, Davis surrendered 9 hits, while striking out 8 and walking 1. He allowed 3 runs. Kurat Feyzioglu closed it out for Yellowstone, earning his 18th save.
Yellowstone took a 4-3 lead on Adam Grizzle's 8th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Grizzle hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Arizona pitcher Josh Kern visibly frustrated.
