The Brooklyn Knights got a strong performance from pitcher Alex Smith, who stymied the Hanoi offense en route to a win, 7-2, at The Nest. The last-place Knights lifted their record to 74-87.

Brooklyn used the hitting of Esteban Gonzalez to pick up the win. The center fielder clubbed a solo home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Knights on top, 4-2. For the game, Gonzalez had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"Alex had good stuff. When he did get into a compromising count, he made the most of it," said Brooklyn manager Enoch Tang.
