The home crowd had a good time watching the Kyiv Cossacks and St. Louis Archies get after it.

The St. Louis Archies defeated the Kyiv Cossacks, 7-6, at Team2 Ballpark. Leading the charge for St. Louis was shortstop Jerry Rodriguez. He was 4 for 5 with 4 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Reliever Satoharu Sato picked up the win. His record improves to 2-9. Jimmy Gold, who is tied for 4th in the FL in saves with 30, took the loss.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With no one out, Rodriguez hit a fastball from Jimmy Gold for a run-scoring single. The Archies, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"Nothing is scripted in this game," said Rodriguez.

St. Louis leads the Federation League Birdbrains Division by 12 games.
