Los Angeles Kings starter Robert Martinez worked his magic, to help his team defeat the Yellowstone Super Volcano, 8-0. Martinez yielded no runs over 6.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 9 hits, walked 0, and struck out 7. His record improves to 12-15. The Kings sit in third place in the Alliance League Dimwits Division with a record of 77-83.

The Kings got an important contribution from catcher Cory Blake, who in the bottom of the second hit a forkball to left-center for a 2-run double. It was his 11th double of the season and put the Kings ahead, 3-0.
