In a tight tilt between the Portland Beavers and the Buffalo Buffalo, Rodolfo Merlos was the deciding factor. The Portland right-hander spearheaded the 2-0 win. Tony Orellana sewed up the save, his 39th. The Beavers now own a record of 76-84.
