Ben Kitch Blanks San Bernardino, 10-0
|
Ben Kitch was dynamite at Toronto Grounds, blowing away the San Bernardino Seahawks in a shutout victory. The Philadelphia Spartans starter had everything working as he held the Seahawks to 3 hits in the 10-0 win.
"He was pure nasty out there today," said San Bernardino skipper Danny Romero. "I don't think any team in the league would've had a chance against what he was bringing."
Kitch finished the game with 9 strikeouts and 1 walk.
To date Kitch is 6-0 in 6 starts with a 0.52 ERA and has 48 strikeouts in 51.2 innings.
