Salgado Excels in 5-2 St. Louis Win
The exploits of center fielder Albert Salgado, who is tied for 10th in the FL in runs scored with 36, helped the St. Louis Archies defeat the Hanoi Dragon Warriors, 5-2. Salgado was 4-4 with a home run, a triple, and 2 doubles, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. The winner was Shuhei Ouchi, who threw 102 pitches over 7 innings. The left-hander was charged with 1 run on 6 hits. Jesus Gutierrez earned his 17th save, after closing out the game.

St. Louis grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Salgado hit a 2-run triple off Devon Wood. His 5th triple of the season put the Archies out in front, 3-1.

"The fans pay the tickets and help us do what we do, so we like to put on a show for them," Salgado told the St. Louis News.
