Boosted by the 2-hit performance of Mike Hieronymus, who is tied for 3rd in the AL in triples with 3, the Havana Sugar Kings defeated the Yellowstone Super Volcano, 4-2. The Sugar Kings move to 83-75 with the win, while the Super Volcano drop to 84-74.

The Sugar Kings had to work out of trouble in the bottom of the ninth. The score was 4-2, Havana, with no one out. Yellowstone, with the bases empty, was mounting a threat. Ricardo Bermudez dug in at the plate, but on a 3-1 fastball, he grounded out.
