Blueberry Bulldogs Take Tight Tangle
Sudbury and Memphis put this game in the books despite some rain.

The Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs had to overcome a fine effort from Memphis pitcher Jeremy Myers to win, 4-3, at Bulldogs Ballpark. Myers went 6.2 innings and allowed 3 runs. The second-place Blueberry Bulldogs hiked their record to 83-75.

Had Ryan DiFranco not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, DiFranco hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Blueberry Bulldogs.

"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said DiFranco.
