Buffalo designated hitter Sam Gleghorn left his imprint on his team's 3-0 win over the Brooklyn Knights. Gleghorn threw 6.1 innings of shutout ball for Buffalo in the contest. Picking up his 2nd save was 25-year old right-handed pitcher Adam Marusak. The third-place Buffalo improved to 79-79.

The Buffalo got a big hit from first baseman Paul Rader. Facing Brooklyn pitcher Mark Foglesong in the bottom of the sixth, Rader pounded a 2-run home run to right. His 27th home run of the season put the Buffalo ahead, 2-0.

Rader called the win "a collective effort."
