Sudbury right-hander Matt Wesberry pitched his team to victory over the East Haddam Hyenas at Bulldogs Ballpark. The final score was 5-3. With the win, Sudbury goes to 87-70, while the Hyenas fall to 64-93.

Sudbury got a big at-bat from Caracas, Venezuela native Michel Carvalho, who in the bottom of the second hit a 2-run double. It was his 14th double of the season and put the Blueberry Bulldogs ahead, 3-0.

"It was a good effort all around," said Carvalho.
