Knights Best Super Volcano in Pitching Duel
Pitching was the name of the game in a tight contest between the Brooklyn Knights and the Yellowstone Super Volcano. Brooklyn won it, 1-0. Brooklyn starter Sam Mooney was in command. The winner was Mooney. He threw 7.1 innings of shutout ball. The loser was John Griese. Tanner Denny sewed up the save, his 12th.

Brooklyn used a well-timed hit by Danny White to capture the win. The shortstop socked a run-scoring double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Knights ahead, 1-0. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

"It's nice to get the results when you're feeling good and throwing the ball well," said Mooney after the game.
