Buffalo Buffalo starter John Hoover was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs, 6-3. Danny Staley earned the save for Buffalo, his 4th. The third-place Blueberry Bulldogs have dropped 5 straight games.

Delivering for the home team was 2042 Rookie of the Year Award winner Jordan Acosta. In the bottom of the fourth, the veteran center fielder had a run-scoring walk. That made the score 3-1, Buffalo.
