Scott Jennings was instrumental in his team's 6-4 triumph over the Brooklyn Knights. The shortstop went 2-4 with a home run, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for the Hanoi Dragon Warriors. Aaron Wierzba was the winner. He's now 12-9. The loser was 27-year old right-handed pitcher John MacMullen. Earning the save was Landon Paulick. He's now cashed in 27 of 35 save opportunities.
Jennings had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a first pitch sinker from John MacMullen, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Dragon Warriors a 6-4 lead. It was the 24th home run of the year for Jennings.
"Chalk one up for the good guys," said Jennings. "I'm sure our fans enjoyed that win."
With the win, Hanoi raised its record to 92-64.
