Archies Send Sudbury Home with 2-1 Loss
The St. Louis Archies earned a win at Team2 Ballpark, stopping the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs, 2-1. Starting pitcher Mike Ricketts played a big role in his team's success. Ricketts got the win, improving to 6-0. He gave up 7 hits and walked 2 over 6.2 innings. He allowed 1 run. The defeat makes Sudbury 32-25.

In the bottom of the third, Alex Garcia delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and a runner on 2nd, the St. Louis second baseman hit a run-scoring single, putting the Archies in front, 2-1.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Garcia.
