Jon Flint, who finished 3rd in the FL in strikeouts with 263 in 2044, never let the Chicks get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his changeup, to pitch the Red Storm to a win, 4-1. Cameron Elson earned the save for Lansing, his 27th of the year. The win has Lansing at 57-98.

Flint allowed no runs on 2 hits over 6.2 innings for the Red Storm. He walked 5 and struck out 10.

"We came out on top and that's all I can ask for," said Flint.
