Yinzers Take Tight Tangle
Though he had a terrific game, Joey Stephen could not prevent his team, the Los Angeles Kings, from absorbing a loss. Pittsburgh won the game, 5-4. Stephen went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Reliever Bob Currell picked up the win. His record improves to 4-3. Jim Davis, who finished 3rd in the AL in saves with 33 last year, took the loss. The Yinzers are now 70-84, while the Kings fall to 62-92.

The Yinzers got a clutch hit from third baseman Marco Estrada. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Yinzers.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Estrada told the Pittsburgh Herald.
