Desert Storm Lose to Blueberry Bulldogs, 7-4
|
Joe Seelye was a vital contributor to the 7-4 Sudbury victory over Arizona. The Blueberry Bulldogs second baseman was 2-3 with a double and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Brett Richardson, credited with the save, is now 6 for 9 in save opportunities. Sudbury now has a record of 79-73 with the win.
The Blueberry Bulldogs got a big at-bat from shortstop Bob Saenz. For the game, Saenz went 1 for 4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the sixth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 21st double of the season gave Sudbury a 6-4 lead.
"It never gets old," said Saenz. "Winning, that is."
