Pizzas Trip Super Volcano, 8-6, in Extra Innings
The Detroit Pizzas stopped the Yellowstone Super Volcano, 8-6, at Volcano Ballpark. The Pizzas got a big game from Dylan Lucas, who was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs. The win was credited to Vance Niec in relief. His record improves to 8-5. Billy Sweeney took the loss. Detroit is now 88-63.

Detroit used a clutch hit from Byron Brymer to get the win. The pinch hitter drilled a solo home run in the top of the 11th inning to put the Pizzas ahead, 7-6. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Detroit manager Evan Compton.
