Dublin got a terrific game from third baseman Jeremy Copeland. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to St. Louis, 6-5. Copeland hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. The win gives St. Louis a season record of 92-58.

The Archies got a clutch hit from center fielder Albert Salgado. In the bottom of the 13th, he hit a run-scoring single to left, to win the game for the Archies.

"We fed off the energy of the crowd at the end," Salgado said.
