The Havana Sugar Kings picked up a win at Sportsman's Park, taking down the Los Angeles Kings, 6-3. Starting pitcher Chad Edwards was a big reason why. Jorge Figueroa collected his 28th save. Havana is now 71-77, while Los Angeles is 70-78.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Mike Faulkner? The 23-year old second baseman Faulkner stroked a bases-clearing double in the top of the eighth inning to put Havana up, 6-3. For the game, he was 3 for 4, including 1 double and 2 singles.

"It's about putting our team in the best position to win ballgames," said Edwards.
