Dublin turned a good effort from starter Karl Gordam into a win over the East Haddam Hyenas at Porters Ballpark. The Porters won the game, 4-2. The winner was Dublin reliever Steve Weston, now 1-0. The loser was Anatolii Merkuriev. Antonio Arredondo earned his 8th save in 8 chances.
Ben Crepps contributed a productive at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With a runner on 1st, he hit a single. His at-bat helped Dublin get the win.
"Karl did a good job keeping the game under control," said Dublin manager Hannah Porter.
The loss makes East Haddam 69-78.
