Hanoi left fielder Ronnie Viverette contributed significantly to his team's 7-5 win over the Portland Beavers. Viverette, who won the Rookie of the Year Award in 2047, went 3 for 5 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Dragon Warriors. Tony Ramos got credit for the win, improving to 8-11. He allowed 3 runs on 6 hits in 6 innings. The victory gives Hanoi a record of 78-70.

Hanoi center fielder Scot Shearing helped the Dragon Warriors go up, 4-3, in the bottom of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Shearing hit a run-scoring single off Portland pitcher Chris King.

"It feels good to get this one," Shearing told the Hanoi Gazette.
