Cossacks Hand Arizona 8-6 Loss
|
The Kyiv Cossacks cut down the Arizona Desert Storm by the score of 8-6, with the largest share of the credit going to first baseman Kelvin William. William went 2 for 3 with a double and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Cossacks. Travis Provenza notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed 2 runs on 5 hits in 5.1 innings. His record now sits at 1-0. Kyiv now sits at 76-71, while Arizona falls to 67-81.
