East Haddam pitcher Mark Foglesong had a large part in his team beating the Dublin Porters, 3-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The Hyenas now have a record of 61-86 with the win over Dublin.

East Haddam took a 3-2 lead on Matt McCauley's 31st double of the season. The run-scoring double, which McCauley hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Dublin pitcher Jesus Mendoza visibly frustrated.

"The effort we put into this one paid off," Foglesong said.
