The 3-hit performance of David Terkeurst, who signed a 5-year contract worth $95,000,000 on 01/29/2049, helped the Portland Beavers beat the Los Angeles Kings, 10-1. Portland goes to 75-70, Los Angeles to 65-81.
Luke Spradley had a big 2-run home run for the Beavers in the bottom of the first inning. With Portland trailing 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a curveball from Kevin Feltes, who finished 2nd in the AL in innings pitched with 239.0 in 2047, and punished it. The result was his 36th home run of the season, which put the Beavers on top, 2-1.
