Takoyaki Rally Late to Nip Porters

The Dublin Porters went down to defeat to Hyeok Kim and his Osaka teammates. The final score was 3-2, in favor of the Takoyaki. Reliever Daniel Forsyth picked up the win. His record improves to 2-3. Evan King, who finished 2nd in the FL in saves with 37 in 2047, took the loss. The save went to Matt Schille, number 8 for him.
Jim Garnet came through with a big-time hit for Osaka. The first baseman smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to give his team the lead, 2-0. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
"We had the right guys up at the right times," said Dublin manager Hannah Porter. "We just didn't cash in."
The Takoyaki now have a record of 70-76 with the win over Dublin.
