Porters Tuck Away 8-5 Win Over Osaka
|
Dedicated fans weathered the storm to watch their beloved Porters beat the Takoyaki.
Daniel Pratley did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Osaka Takoyaki from being beaten, 8-5, to the Dublin Porters at Porters Ballpark. Pratley was 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Dublin reliever Greg Sebera was the winner. His record is now 2-13. Tommy Nadeau took the loss. Zion Anthony earned the save, his 28th, for the Porters.
Manny Barraza hit a 2-run double off Tommy Nadeau in the bottom of the sixth, which put the Porters in front, 7-5. In addition to the double, Barraza had 2 singles, while going 3 for 5.
"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Barraza.
Dublin has run its win streak to 4 straight.
