Nick Koonts made an impact in the 6-4 Buffalo win over Yellowstone. Koonts, who led the AL in triples with 14 in 2039, was 3-4 with a double and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Jimmy Miller, the winning pitcher, improved to 11-12. He pitched 8 innings, giving up 10 hits and 4 runs, while striking out 5 and walking 2. Randy Nelson converted his 11th save in 13 tries.
