Kings Eke Out 2-1 Win Versus Buffalo
|
Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Los Angeles Kings and Buffalo Buffalo.
Los Angeles pitcher Jon Avery did his part in helping his team defeat the Buffalo Buffalo, 2-1. The opposition could never get too much going against the right-hander. Los Angeles has won 3 straight, while Buffalo has lost 3 in a row.
With scoring opportunities rare, the Kings had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the fourth, when first baseman Pat Hamilton hit a run-scoring single. The single came off John Hoover and made the score 2-1, Kings. Hamilton was 2 for 3 with 2 singles and a walk.
"We faced good pitching and still got it done," said Hamilton.
