Beavers Roll to 12-2 Win Over Pizzas
The Portland Beavers put together a convincing win at Beavers Park, defeating the Detroit Pizzas, 12-2. Ethan Breaux was one of the hitting stars. He was 2 for 2 with a triple and 3 walks, while scoring 4 runs for Portland. Eric Adamonis earned the win, while 34-year old right-handed pitcher Won-hyung Kim took the loss for Detroit. At 33-22, the Beavers are currently first in the Alliance League Dimwits Division.

Matt Lamons was a prime contributor to the Portland win. He was 2-3 with a double, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 3 runs. In the bottom of the first with two out, the 23-year old center fielder hit a 2-run single. It made the score 2-0, in favor of the Beavers.

"It was full throttle on our side," said Lamons.
