Dublin picked up a win at Kyiv Grounds, bumping off the Kyiv Cossacks, 6-3. Pitcher Eddie Lomeli was a major reason the Porters emerged victorious. Lomeli got the win, improving to 4-11. He gave up 4 hits and walked 3 over 6.2 innings. He allowed 2 runs. Zion Anthony locked down his 26th save.
Manny Barraza had a big bases-clearing triple for the Porters in the top of the second inning. With Dublin leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a slider from Travis Provenza, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2048 draft, and swatted a triple to left-center. It was his 3rd triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Porters ahead, 4-0.
Barraza attributed the win to his team's "focus and intensity."
