The Los Angeles Kings withstood an impressive performance by Buffalo right fielder Omar Gallegos to defeat the Buffalo, 11-8, at Sportsman's Park. Gallegos went 3-4 with a home run, a double, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Los Angeles reliever Eric Breunig picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Jimmy Miller was saddled with the loss. Eric Barone got the save, the 41st for him this season.

Rowan Cooper hit a 2-run triple off Jimmy Miller in the bottom of the fourth, which put the Kings in front, 7-5. In addition to the triple, Cooper had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 4.

"This is a great group to be a part of, and it's a big win for us," Cooper told the Los Angeles Gazette.

After today's action, Los Angeles sits at 66-76, while Buffalo falls to 75-67.
