Buffalo Dealt 6-2 Defeat
|
Tony Ramos, who finished 3rd in the AL in wins with 15 in 2047, was locked in. The right-hander led the Hanoi Dragon Warriors to a 6-2 win against the Buffalo Buffalo at The Nest. Ramos yielded 2 runs over 8 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 5, and struck out 5. His record improves to 7-11. Hanoi is now 75-68, while Buffalo is 66-77.
The Dragon Warriors got a big at-bat from right fielder Josh Sunday. For the game, Sunday was 1 for 3 with a home run and was hit by a pitch, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 27th home run of the season gave Hanoi a 4-2 lead.
"I managed to get ahead of guys and keep them at bay," said Ramos.
