7 Straight Wins for Blueberry Bulldogs
The Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs got a marvelous performance from pitcher Josh Freeland. The right-hander kept the Dublin offense from ever getting much traction. The result was an impressive 5-2 Sudbury victory at Bulldogs Ballpark. The winner in relief was Danny Dudley. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings. He now owns a record of 5-7. Sudbury is now 72-69, Dublin 77-64.

Michel Carvalho chipped in for Sudbury, stroking a crucial run-scoring single in the bottom of the seventh inning. For the game, the third baseman was 1 for 5.

"Winning breeds more winning, I guess," said Freeland.
