The Arizona Desert Storm picked up a win at Porters Ballpark, knocking off the Dublin Porters, 4-3. On the mound for Arizona was left-hander Ronaldo Sardinha. He played a key role in the triumph. Evan King snagged the win in relief. He goes to 6-5 on the season. Omari Johnson suffered the loss. Arizona raised its record to 72-69 with the win.
Bobby Garcia had a direct impact on the outcome. Garcia contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the ninth inning to put Arizona up, 4-3.
"It's the best feeling when you come through for your teammates," said Garcia.
