The Hanoi Dragon Warriors faced a tough opponent in Wilmington pitcher Jason Scothorn, but did just enough to pull out the victory at The Nest by a final score of 7-5. Scothorn went 8 innings and allowed 2 runs. The setback makes Wilmington 68-73.

Hanoi got a game-changing hit from Lorenzo Lobato. The center fielder blasted a grand slam home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a winner.
