The Buffalo Buffalo defeated the Brooklyn Knights, 6-2, in Alliance League action at Brooklyn Coliseum. Buffalo pitcher Glenn DePue had a standout performance. Buffalo is now 66-76, Brooklyn 81-60.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Jorge Lopez? The Buffalo right fielder had a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Buffalo on top, 3-0. For the game, Lopez had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"I thought we played a nice game," DePue told the Buffalo News. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
