Getting offensive support from Jeremy Copeland, the Buffalo Buffalo topped the Portland Beavers, 6-5. Copeland went 2-4 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Buffalo. Dan Bowen sewed up the save, his 4th. Buffalo now sports a record of 68-73.

Copeland had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a 1-2 curveball from Andy Buhrke, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Buffalo a 6-5 lead. It was the 12th home run of the year for Copeland.

"We were able to put some good swings on some pitches," Copeland told the Buffalo Daily News.
