Buffalo Deal Aces 3-2 Defeat
|
The Buffalo Buffalo picked up a win at Aces Ballpark, taking down the Omaha Aces, 3-2. Starting pitcher Noah Ellenbecker was a big reason why. Zion Anthony picked up the save, his 18th. Buffalo improves to 70-71 with the win. They lead their division by 5 games.
Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Luis Garcia? The three-time Great Glove Award winner Garcia stroked a 2-run double in the top of the seventh inning to put Buffalo up, 3-2. For the game, he was 2 for 5, including 1 double and 1 single.
"That was a really good outing by Noah," said Buffalo manager Jim Punk42ae.
