Yinzers Topple Chicks, 9-2, as Beaufort Shines
Getting offensive support from John Beaufort, the Pittsburgh Yinzers topped the Memphis Chicks, 9-2. Beaufort was 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 6 runs and scored once for the Yinzers. Rodolfo Merlos came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed 2 runs on 5 hits in 5 innings. His record now stands at 1-0. The Yinzers, at 81-58, have now won 6 straight.

Early in the game, Beaufort had a grand slam home run for Pittsburgh. It was his 21st home run of the season and put the Yinzers on top, 4-0.
