Yellowstone got a strong outing from Mike Martinez as the Super Volcano defeated the Dublin Porters, 2-0, at Volcano Ballpark. Ryan Podolsky collected his 37th save. At 77-63, the Super Volcano have a slim two-game lead in the Alliance League Dimwits Division.

Martinez was the winning pitcher. He raised his season record to 5-3. In 8 innings of work, Martinez gave up no runs on 3 hits, while striking out 14. The Porters were never able to generate much offense.
