Extra-Inning Win by Desert Storm Over Dragon Warriors
Hanoi left fielder Ronnie Viverette was sensational. He belted 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. But it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Arizona beat the Dragon Warriors, 5-4. Andy Buhrke picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 2-3. Landon Paulick, who is tied for 7th in the AL in saves with 22, was tagged with the loss. Evan King recorded his 2nd save for Arizona.

Arizona used the hitting of Eddie Garcia to pick up the win. The designated hitter clubbed a run-scoring single in the top of the 11th inning to put the Desert Storm on top, 5-4. For the game, Garcia had 1 home run and 2 singles in 6 at-bats.

"This was one of those 'not to be denied' games," said Arizona field general GM PerryPHX.

Arizona now has a record of 71-69 with the win.
