Win Makes Knights 71-68
Due in large part to first baseman Ed Putty, the Brooklyn Knights sunk the St. Louis Archies, 11-7. Putty went 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles, while scoring 2 times. Nick Chestney earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings. He upped his record to 2-2. The current losing streak for St. Louis has reached 4 games.

Early in the game, left fielder Corey Buntin had a 2-run triple for Brooklyn. It was his 1st triple of the season and put the Knights on top, 3-1.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Buntin.
