Archies Need Extra Frames to Get Past Super Volcano
St. Louis registered a win at Volcano Ballpark by beating the Yellowstone Super Volcano, 5-3. Pitcher Mike Ricketts was one reason why the Archies triumphed. After today's action, St. Louis sits at 88-51, while Yellowstone falls to 86-53.

St. Louis used the hitting of Adrian Ressler to pick up the win. The shortstop clubbed a 2-run single in the top of the 17th inning to put the Archies on top, 5-3. For the game, Ressler had 1 home run and 1 single in 6 at-bats.

"Mike kept them off-balance, threw a great game for us," said Archies manager Terry Schneekloth.
