|
Joe Gainey left his imprint on the 6-5 Arizona win against the Memphis Chicks. Gainey, who is a two-time All-Star, was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs. Arizona has won 5 straight, while Memphis has lost 5 in a row.
Won-shik Im came through with a big-time hit for Arizona. The first baseman smacked a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to give his team the lead, 6-4. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
