Buffalo picked up a win at The Greenhouse, bumping off the East Haddam Hyenas, 6-4. Pitcher John Hoover was a major reason the Buffalo emerged victorious. With the win, Buffalo has a record of 74-65. East Haddam falls to 55-84.

Buffalo got a knockout punch from Brian Vespa. The shortstop hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the 12th inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"John was John," said Buffalo manager Jim Punk42ae. "We know what we'll get whenever he takes the mound."
