Lee Helps Beavers Run Win Streak to 6

The Portland Beavers dealt the Hanoi Dragon Warriors a 4-2 loss at Beavers Park. Greg Lee was the star on offense. He threw 8.0 innings of 3-hit ball. After today's action, Portland sits at 63-75; Hanoi slips to 66-72.
Ron Gibson had a big 2-run home run for the Beavers in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Portland leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a curveball from Aaron Wierzba, who is tied for 4th in the AL with a 3.20 ERA, and punished it. The result was his 12th home run of the season, which put the Beavers on top, 3-0.
After the game, Portland manager GM bigbluex02 applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
