Ochoa Helps Hyenas Beat Knights, 14-7
The East Haddam Hyenas stormed past the Brooklyn Knights, 14-7, at Ballpark of East Haddam. East Haddam center fielderVictor Ochoa led the hit parade. He was 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 and driving in 4. Chris Newell earned the win for East Haddam. He lasted 6 innings, allowing 4 runs on 6 hits, while striking out 5. With the win, he raised his record to 10-7. The Hyenas go to 55-82 with the win.

With East Haddam leading 10-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Ochoa came up to bat against Brooklyn pitcher Adam Dodson. Ochoa hit a cutter to center for a grand slam home run. His 6th home run of the season put the Hyenas on top, 14-0.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Ochoa told a East Haddam Daily reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
