Nunez, East Haddam Prevail in Pitchers' Duel
|
East Haddam right-hander Sergio Nunez pitched his team to victory over the Omaha Aces at Aces Ballpark. The final score was 2-0. Andy Eischen was called on to finish, recording his 13th save. With the victory, the Hyenas upped their record to 27-27.
Nunez imposed his will on the Aces, scattering 4 hits over 8 innings while striking out 11. The right-hander upped his season record to 5-5.
