Kyiv Cossacks starter Mark Powers pitched well against the Dublin Porters at Porters Ballpark, leading his team to a win, 2-1. Jimmy Gold earned the save, his 24th in 30 tries.

Noah Abitia, who finished 4th in the FL in triples with 4 in 2047, had a direct impact on the outcome. Abitia contributed a solo home run in the top of the fourth inning to put Kyiv up, 2-0.

"For the most part, I stayed out of the middle of the plate," Powers said.

The third-place Cossacks improved to 64-74.
