Blueberry Bulldogs Take Home 2-1 Win Over Detroit
Bulldogs Ballpark was the site of a tense game between the Detroit Pizzas and Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs.

Detroit wasted a solid 7-inning effort from starting pitcher Chad Edwards, losing to Sudbury, 2-1, at Bulldogs Ballpark. The save went to Eric Barone, his 28th this season.

With one out in the bottom of the fourth, Adrian Silvester hit a go-ahead, solo home run. It was his 21st home run of the season and with it the Blueberry Bulldogs took a 2-1 lead.

"No one player deserves all the credit when you win," Silvester said. "And the same is true when you lose."

The Blueberry Bulldogs improved their record to 69-67 by beating Detroit.
