DiFranco Stars for Blueberry Bulldogs in 12-5 Win
The Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs beat the Saskatchewan 92's, 12-5, at Stadium 92. The Blueberry Bulldogs got a fine performance from right fielder Ryan DiFranco, who was 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. The win gives Sudbury a season record of 75-61.

In the top of the seventh, Sudbury designated hitter Josh Deere gave his team the lead. With two out and runners on 1st and 2nd, The Bandit hit his 40th double of the year. Saskatchewan pitcher Mario Martinez surrendered it. With that, the Blueberry Bulldogs jumped in front, 5-4.

"Winning never gets dull," said DiFranco.
