The Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs had to overcome a big game from East Haddam catcher Jack Rayner to leave Ballpark of East Haddam with a victory. And they did, winning, 9-7. Rayner was 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Sudbury is now 76-60, East Haddam 54-82.

Joe Seelye, who finished 5th in the FL in triples with 4 in 2049, helped out the Sudbury cause in the top of the sixth inning with a 2-run double. For the game, the second baseman went 1 for 5 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
