Sugar Kings second baseman Kevin Mars put his stamp on his team's 5-4 win over the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs. Mars was 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 for Havana in the contest. John Charles, credited with the win in relief, is now 6-7. He allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 3 innings. With the victory, the Sugar Kings upped their record to 73-63.
