The St. Louis Archies went home winners at Porters Ballpark, thanks in large part to starter Danny Dudley. Dudley stifled the Dublin Porters, enabling St. Louis to grab the 7-0 win. In 6.1 innings, Dudley surrendered 3 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 4. He allowed no runs. St. Louis, at 86-50, is 10½ games up in the Federation League Birdbrains Division.

Adrian Ressler had a big 2-run home run for the Archies in the top of the fourth inning. With St. Louis leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a fastball from Ben Verville, who leads the FL in innings pitched with 224.0, and punished it. The result was his 3rd home run of the season, which put the Archies on top, 3-0.

"It's easier to pitch when you get run support," said Dudley.
