|
Dublin starter Andy Pittman pitched well against the Lansing Red Storm at Porters Ballpark. The left-hander led his team to a win, 5-3. Dublin reliever Luis Almanza picked up the win, upping his record to 3-0. Kane Tulk took the loss. Chris Gills recorded the save, his 31st.
Rich Cohn helped out the Dublin cause in the bottom of the seventh inning with a run-scoring double. For the game, the left fielder went 2-4 with 2 doubles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.
Pittman said his team "played with focus."
The second-place Porters improved to 71-64.
